The association of Ray J. White & Sons and RE/MAX International occurred in 2009 and resulted in RE/MAX River Cities. Ray J. White & Sons has been in existence since 1921 and RE/MAX International since 1973 so it was a combination of two companies that have long experience in real estate. Ray J. White & Sons was started in 1921 by Ray J. White and later the sons John and Bob joined the firm. The company is now owned by Dick White, grandson of the founder, who has been with the company since 1991. Dick attended and graduated from both the University of Idaho and Harvard Business School and has been a licensed real estate broker since 1975. Prior to joining Ray J. White & Sons Dick lived in Houston for 20 years where he started his real estate career working in commercial real estate sales, commercial leasing and land development. He is licensed in Idaho and Washington and has an office in McCall, Idaho.

Residential Sales — Our bread and butter for our many years of existence is residential sales. We have sold residential properties to more than three generations of Valley residents. We have unique marketing tools and the association with RE/MAX will only enhance that expertise. Our agents average 25 years of selling property and we are very familiar with new construction.


Commercial Sales — We have always had principals and/or agents that are experienced in commercial sales and that continues to this day. Several national real estate companies have chosen Dick White to represent them locally. Dick has been designated as a commercial specialist by RE/MAX based on prior experience in this market. Properties listed with RE/MAX River Cities will also be exposed on the RE/MAX commercial network.


Commercial Leasing — We are the dominant player in the commercial leasing market with projects represented in both Lewiston and Clarkston. We are comfortable and have dealt with national clients as well as major regional and local companies. We interact with RE/MAX commercial agents throughout the country.


Land Development Services — We have developed several projects in both Lewiston and Clarkston, both for our own account as well as for clients. While they have been primarily residential in nature, we have also completed the Scenic Crest development by the former Wal-Mart which included several multi-family projects. We have developed more than 250 lots in the Lewis-Clark Valley since 1994


Real Estate Consulting — From time to time we are asked by institutional clients to review and comment on their proposed projects or to assist them in planning the purchase of properties for future expansion.
